Jomhosting.net one of the cheapest hosting provider in Malaysia is hacked. Today I tried to visit jomhosting.net but suddenly received this popup. When I clicked OK, it shows a flash presentation starting with ... Follows by .. showing of the hackers nick name .. . I do not watch the flash presentation until the end. What I can say is now nothing is secure. I still can access the client area login page. But decided not to login. Hopefully Jomhosting can rectify the problem as soon as possible.

It takes me quite some time playing around, testing here and there .. I think its time to me to be more serious in blogging. Blogging takes a lot of time, so it is really important to achieve certain target in blogging.  The target is of course : Traffic Traffic and Traffic.. There are 2 Major Step I currently taking in order  to be more SERIOUS. 1. Aweber Email Marketing I just subscribed to Aweber email marketing. I do subscribed before but for USD1 trial only and stopped halfway. Email marketing will be one of the strategy to get traffic. 2. Migrating Zulseffort.com to other hosting provider In order to be more focus, my main Bahasa Melayu Blog must be hosted at a hosting provider with better reliability. One of my problem is to have more time writing and tweaking blog. I cannot afford to lost my posts due to any reason. It was very troublesome.

From what I see, those who are labelled as traffic hunter are those who like to update their blog with latest hot news, sometimes misleading headlines , sometimes creating controversy with the intention to get more visits to their blog. I don't like to write misleading headlines, creating controversy and hate writing about  XXX related post. However I do like to write and comment about latest issues happening around me. I am a Traffic Hunter If  these posts can make me labelled as a Traffic Hunter, then I am a traffic Hunter.  Facebook Will be Closed 15th Mac is Hoax  (339 page views)  Robbery Incident at Mamak Section 15 Shah Alam  (195 page views)  6% Service Tax on Prepaid Reloads and Starter Pack  (111 page views) From my opinion, there are nothing wrong to hunt for traffic. Okay. Some of you may already realized that I have another blog just for contest. Yes. I love joining contest for fun if and only if I have free time and the contests suits me. In 2009 and early 2010, as example, I won quite a few prizes such as from RajaKamil's Top commenter contest , denaihatis commenter contest,   WanMus's Post review contests and many more. If  you want to make some pocket money and sometimes other cool prizes online while having some fun, joining contests is definitely a good way to start your journey. It can prove to yourself that  However 2010 upwards was and will be a busy days for me with personal and work related issues. Those are the priorities.   Okay! Since I loved joining online contests I made a blog just for contest listing, made a twitter account for the blog and keep the blog until now although it is not a regularly updated blog.   So for this 2011 , I made a decision to revive ContestMY (and my other blogs too!) ....

Hey, did you do any guest blogging? I guess some of you maybe have a lot experience on being a guest blogger. I'm still a newbie though. I just sent a blog post to my friend's blog denaihati.com . Which is scheduled to be published this 19 November.  Actually I get the invitation earlier this year. However, that time , aside from my bad time management,  I too do not have enough courage to be a guest blogger at any blog. But not any more.. thanks to blogging, my confidence level are higher.  Why being a guest blogger is an important step in blogging?

Troll  Yerps! As the topic says..  the blogosphere have a lot of negative things. Namely troll. Blogwalking is not as fun as before.  What is troll you may ask? Blitz is so fun!  I was a chess player. Used to play in local tournaments here in Malaysia. Now I am still a chess player , but not as active as two years back. When I was an active player,  Chess Night Fever is normal. We "club  level chess player" regularly organized our own blitz mini tournament. The time control  is 5 minutes per player (10 minutes per game) . The fun usually continues until 3 am or 4 am. We not just playing but also analyzing games. Crazy, right? So what happened when a chess player started to blog? Last night , I have a meetup with mindacatur's owner. He just started his blog. We met at a 24-hour McD restaurant at 11.40 pm after watching the heart beating thomas cup. I asked a question,

I change my blog language from Malay to English . I gave new domain for the blog from zulseffort.blogspot.com to zulseffort.net. I change the layout of the blog to have a fresh new look using blogger template designer . I reward commenter by giving back link in next post. All of this happened this year! Commenting is a way to get traffic, backlink and getting new blogger friends. While for the blogger who spent time writing the blog post, it is an honour to get feedback and appreciation from the visitor.  The comments may also open new ideas to write in other posts. Hi all, have a nice day! Changing Blog Layout  If you have been visiting my blog lately, you can see that this blog layout keep changing and changing... For your info, I started this blog with minima two column template (ochre) and getting bored with just two column. I wanted to put everything in this blog. Two columns is not enough. I need three columns. So, with my little knowledge in customizing blogger template, I managed to make three column template , cool eh? I can put advertisement  and a lot of widgets. But after quite a long time using that kind of template, I feel that having three column template is good but it make me feel unorganized and messy, too much columns to organize. So here I am back to 2 column basic blogger template. Tentu sesiapa yang ada berhijrah dari blogspot kepada wordpress dot com tentu sedikit sebanyak terfikir pasal benda ni kan? Ceritanya macamni, saya ada satu blog baru namanya ZulsEffort.Com , blog wordpress dot com yang baru saya buka selepas 3 bulan dari tarikh target. Asalnya nak tulis blog tu dalam English, tapi.. rasa macam belum sampai masa lagi kot. jadi nak tulis dalam BM. Sebelum terfikir gak nak transfer semua post daripada blog ni ke blog wordpress,  Jadi samalah nichenya.. Tapi bila difikir-fikir balik memang sayang oo kat blog ni. Takkan nak abaikan lak.. Bayangkanlah layout ni pun godek-godek code dari basic template sehinngalah jadi macam ni. Dari takde commenting system sehinggalah pakai DISQUS, dari blog yang takde pagerank, sekarang ni PR2, duduk first page pulak untuk  keyword buat duit dengan twitter.  Memang rasa rugi nak abaikan blog ni... Ada satu persoalan yang menarik perhatian saya pernah diutarakan oleh Encik RnR, peserta Komen Oktober Blog ni. (Ni yang best buat pertandingan komen ni.. macam-macam idea dan konsep boleh dikongsi sama.) Konsep yang diutarakan ialah  "social commenting". Tentu sekali saya tertarik dengan konsep ni. Jadi dalam entry ni saya buat perbandingan serba sedikit. Sebelum nak buat perbandingan pada pendapat saya elok kita tengok tujuan kenapa adanya bahagian komen di blog. Sudah lama tak check google Analytics untuk blog http://myonlinecontest.blogspot.com. Jadi hari ini ambik masa sikit untuk check. Sajer nak tengok perkembangan blog ni elok ke idak? Huh .. tapi terkejut bila tengok grafnye macam ni: Takde trafik langsung bermula 28 Sept 2009! Tak mungkin, blog ni biasanya (selepas di hidupkan balik) dapat 70 visit sehari. Bila check coding template rupa-rupanya coding utk Google Analytic tracking dah takde! mesti gara-gara menggodek blog dulu. Jadi hari ni cepat-cepat masukkan balik coding tu.

Sebagai seorang yang meggemari twitter. Saya memang betul-betul tertarik dengan konsep Twitter Landing Page. Konsep ini saya mula-mula dapat tau daripada satu artikel bekenaan Twitter Landing Page di blog problogger . Dalam laman twitter kita ada tempat untuk diisi dengan url. Pada mulanya saya cuma letak url blog semata-mata. Tujuan post ni sebenarnya untuk memindahkan community zul's blog di My Blog Log  daripada akaun yang lama ke akaun yang baru. Tujuan pemindahan adalah untuk pengurusan yang lebih centralized dan teratur. Undergoing MyBlogLog Verification Untuk pindah akaun senang sahaja, pada akaun yang lama kita leave the community. Lepas tu kita boleh claim balik community tu dengan akaun baru. MyBloglog akan minta kita untuk verify dengan cara menghantar satu post yang mengandungi verification link, atau pun tambah meta tag pada HTML code. Saya pilih untuk menghantar post. Itulah sebabnya entry ni wujud.
