Guest Blogging

Hey, did you do any guest blogging? I guess some of you maybe have a lot experience on being a guest blogger. I'm still a newbie though. I just sent a blog post to my friend's blog denaihati.com. Which is scheduled to be published this 19 November. 

Actually I get the invitation earlier this year. However, that time , aside from my bad time management,  I too do not have enough courage to be a guest blogger at any blog. But not any more.. thanks to blogging, my confidence level are higher. 

Why being a guest blogger is an important step in blogging? 

For me personally, it is some kind of achievement showing that my writing either writing style or content are accepted by others. Being accepted is a great gift! Especially if it is at local influencer's blog. Another bonus is to get more traffic to blog due to more influence. Its also another way to establish niche, or also a good escape place to write something not related to your niche. The main point is by being a guest we can reach out to more people.  

So what is the benefit to blog owner?

Of course it is a win-win situation. Guest blogging not only give benefit to the guest blogger but also to the blog owner. My malay blog on make money tweeting and twitter tips have a first post from a famous local blogger. Great! 

Okay. Telling the truth I'm not good in writing tutorial and instructional post. I found out that tutorial post will be good and beneficial to my blog visitor. Instead of  investing (if not wasting) a lot of time writing the post. Its better to focus of what I CAN and let other people sharing it in my blog. Other than that it s also a prove that other blogger trust my blog to host their content! 

To conclude, guest blogging is good for both the blog owner and also the guest blogger. This is my experience, which is very shallow compared to yours. So, what is your opinion about guest blogging? Care to share your experience? I'm going to learn a lot from you.
